Pierce Transit transfers are good for one hour past the time your bus reaches the end of its route. For example, if you took the Route 1 bus leaving Tacoma Community College at 6:05 am and got off in Downtown Tacoma at 6:27 am, your transfer would be good until 8:22 am — an hour after the bus reaches the end of the line at the Wal-mart on Mountain Highway at 7:22 am.
If using ORCA e-purse* to purchase your fare, your transfer is good for two hours.
Pierce Transit transfers have a value of $1.75 toward local Pierce Transit fares (75¢ for Discounted‡ or Youth).
There are no paper transfers between bus systems (Pierce Transit, Metro, Sound Transit, etc.)
