CANDLELIGHT VIGIL IN HONOR OF ROY STEVENS
A candlelight Vigil for Roy Stevens is being held Friday, February 24 at Pierce Transit Headquarters in Lakewood, located at 3701 96th St. SW, Lakewood, WA., from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The vigil will take place near the flagpoles in front of the Pierce Transit Administration Building. There will be a short speaking program and the opportunity for colleagues and friends to share their memories of Roy, followed by a candle lighting ceremony.
Candles will be provided at the vigil.
Members of the public and former Pierce Transit employees may park at the Pierce Transit Training Center visitors’ parking lot, located at 3720 96th St. SW, Lakewood, WA. Parking is very limited. Pierce Transit employees are required to park behind Building 5.
