We track all aspects of transit operations and service provision to ensure that the most effective, efficient public transportation is available in our community. Gathering and analyzing this data helps us gauge performance towards meeting our strategic and operational goals.

Pierce Transit would like to recognize the 2025 Operators of the Month for their outstanding service to the community. Each month, one transit operator is selected for this award based on their exceptional safety record, stellar customer service and exemplary attendance.

Pierce Transit Board of Commissioners
Pierce Transit is currently governed by a 10-member Board of Commissioners consisting of nine voting members made up of elected officials representing Pierce County, Tacoma, Lakewood, Puyallup, University Place and the smaller cities and towns in Pierce County, and one non-voting union representative.
