Pierce Transit is hiring Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians to get our vehicles ready to roll each morning in service to the community. Consider joining our team! In this role, you’ll be performing preventative maintenance, repairing a variety of vehicles, and troubleshooting and diagnosing issues while working on natural gas, electric vehicles, diesel engines and related systems.
To qualify, you must be at least eighteen years old, a high school graduate or equivalent, have completed of a 4-year diesel mechanic apprentice program or equivalent and have experience as a heavy-duty diesel technician.
