Pierce Transit was presented with the Spotlight on Business Environmental Steward Award at the Tacoma Pierce County Chamber Annual Meeting on Oct. 30. The Environmental Steward award recognizes organizations leading the way in sustainability and environmental responsibility. These businesses set measurable goals to reduce impact, improve efficiency, and inspire a greener future for Pierce County.
At the ceremony, the Chamber recognized the agency as driving sustainability for nearly half a century and continuing to set the pace for green mobility in the region.
