Notice is hereby given that Pierce Transit staff will be hosting a World Cup Summit on August 20, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Tacoma Dome Station. Attendees will hear about the opportunities and challenges next summer’s event brings to our region and learn about how this global event will impact our local economy, activate our communities, and highlight the vital role of transit in connecting people to the action.
Although a quorum of the Board of Commissioners and the Community Transportation Advisory Group may be present for the event, this is not a Board or CTAG meeting. The Board or CTAG will not take any action, public testimony, or participate in any deliberations on any matter.
