Lane Closures to SR 7 in Spanaway

Effective Monday, April 21, 2025

Due to construction, daytime and overnight single-lane closures will occur on SR 7, between Violet Meadow Street South in Parkland and 188th Street South in Spanaway. This is expected to cause traffic delays. Bus stops within the construction zone will also be temporarily closed. Rider Alerts will be posted at impacted stops with directions to the nearest open bus stop.

Lane closures are scheduled during the following times:

Parkland (between 134th Street South and Violet Meadow Street South)

Both directions on SR 7:

  • Overnight: 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. the next day, Monday through Thursday
  • Daytime: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday

Spanaway (between 188th Street South and 143rd Street South)

Southbound SR 7:

  • Overnight: 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. the next day, Monday through Thursday
  • Daytime: 6 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday

Northbound SR 7:

  • Overnight: 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day, Monday through Thursday
  • Daytime: 6 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday

Be sure to arrive at your stop at least 5 minutes early. You may ask the operator to announce your stop if you are unsure where you need to get off the bus. Watch the reader to see where you are along the route. When your stop is announced pull the cord to trigger the bus stop request.
