Pierce Transit Adjusts Service on June 7, 2026

Pierce Transit is making a few changes to improve your ride beginning June 7, 2026.

Routes With Changes

Southbound trips no longer travel on S. 19th St between Market St. and Jefferson Ave. Instead, buses will continue on Jefferson Ave. No bus stops or schedules are affected by this revision.

Gig Harbor Waterfront Connector returns for seasonal service! This summer, hop on the Connector for a fun ride around beautiful Gig Harbor on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. And like all Pierce Transit services, youth 18 and younger ride free!

Preview Route

Northbound trips toward Lakewood Transit Center are adjusted every day of the week.

Fan Zone Express

Beginning June 12, Pierce Transit’s Fan Zone Express will provide free rides, connecting fans to international soccer match watch parties and celebratory events.

Upcoming Holiday Services

Pierce Transit modifies some service to more closely match ridership levels on holidays and days around those holidays. For example, Independence Day 2026 is observed on a Friday, but Pierce Transit buses will be following Sunday schedules that day, and the Customer Service Center (Bus Shop) will be closed. For a look ahead, visit our Holiday Service page.
