Pierce Transit announces easy, fare-free connections to the Summer of Soccer local watching parties with its Fan Zone Express service launching June 12. The Fan Zone Express will run each day watching parties are held, as well as for Puyallup Tribe of Indians’ celebratory events. The Puyallup Tribe of Indians is hosting watching parties and celebratory events in partnership with the City of Tacoma and Pierce County.

Customers can ride public transit to, or park at, Tacoma Dome Station (610 Puyallup Ave, Tacoma) or park in Lot G at the Tacoma Dome. The Fan Zone Express will stop at both locations, providing a connection to the Puyallup Tribe of Indians’ Fan Zone. As the official host city supporter, the Puyallup Tribe of Indians is proud to welcome the world. Learn more at PuyallupAllTogether.org.

Fan Zone Express buses will provide rides on a continuous loop between Tacoma Dome parking lot G, Tacoma Dome Station Zone F, and the Event Transit Zone. Buses will arrive about every 15 minutes. Note that on June 12, the Puyallup Tribe of Indians is hosting an opening celebration parade and fireworks show; the Fan Zone Express will be pausing service between 7:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. due to parade routing.

Fan Zone Express buses are accessible, and rides are free for everyone. Regular fares are required on all other Pierce Transit bus routes and services, for riders 19 or older.
