Pierce Transit’s Spanaway Transit Center, located at 20712 Mountain Hwy E, Spanaway, will temporarily close starting Monday, April 27 and will remain closed for approximately 13 weeks.
The temporary closure is due to Pierce County’s 208th Street East Sewer Extension project. Pierce Transit Route 1 and Stream Community Line will not serve the Spanaway Transit Center or the southbound bus stop near 8th Ave E. for the duration of the construction project.
Alternate park & ride lots are located at the Roy Y Park & Ride and Parkland Transit Center. Roy Y Park & Ride is served by Route 1 and Stream, and the Parkland Transit Center is one block away from a bus stop for Route 1 and Stream.
