To celebrate the Seahawks’ victory, a parade is scheduled on Wednesday, February 11 at 11 a.m. in Seattle. Pierce Transit, along with other transit agencies in the region, is working to ensure that fans can get to the parade route along Fourth Avenue in downtown Seattle.

Special event bus service will be provided from the 512 Park & Ride and Tacoma Dome Station (TDS) to Federal Way Downtown Station, to connect fans to Sound Transit’s 1 Line Link light rail into downtown Seattle.

This special event service will begin at 6 a.m. at the 512 Park & Ride and will also pick up passengers at TDS before heading to Federal Way. Service will run approximately every 15 minutes until 9 a.m.

Board the special event bus:

  • at the 512 Park & Ride at Zone I
  • at TDS on the East side of G St. at Zone F

These trips will be provided using ST Express vehicles. Regular ST fares will be charged; youth age 18 and under ride free.

All regular Pierce Transit weekday service will be operating, too, so riders can choose to take Routes 500 and 501 to get to Federal Way Downtown Station and board Link light rail there to downtown Seattle.

ST Express Routes 574 and 586 (5:10 a.m. to 8 a.m.) also depart from TDS and serve Federal Way Downtown Station.

The Sounder train can be boarded at Lakewood, South Tacoma, TDS, Puyallup and Sumner for early morning trips into downtown Seattle.

Note that on the morning of Feb. 11, all northbound ST Express bus routes into downtown Seattle will terminate at Busway and Lander due to parade street closures.

To return after the parade, fans are encouraged to utilize services provided by our partner, Sound Transit.

  • Sounder train service runs southbound from Seattle’s Union Station beginning at 2:35 p.m.
  • ST Express Route 594 will serve bus stops in downtown Seattle only after the parade route is reopened to traffic. Route 594 serves TDS and 512 Park & Ride.
  • Riders may also choose to take Link light rail from downtown Seattle to Federal Way and then ride Pierce Transit Route 500 or Pierce Transit Route 501 to TDS, or ST Express Route 574 to the 512 Park & Ride.

Plan ahead, consider traveling early and staying after the parade to minimize travel delays. Please be patient and prepare for crowds on the streets and on the buses, trains, and light rail.
